Chantebeouf is the best intimate small water in France, literally brimming with big carp, set in beautiful landscaped private grounds, with a house feet from the lake, a made for purpose wooden lodge, pleasure pond, decked areas, handmade fisherman’s huts, copses, a forest and once through the gates – it’s your own exclusive haven.
The House
Chantebeouf is the perfect family or small group fishing venue as it offers great fishing but has so much for the family and non angling guests too.
The accommodation which is furnished to the highest standard, consists of 2 bedrooms; the main double bedroom has a manmade oak bed, Egyptian cotton bed linen, duvets, blankets and towels also supplied free of charge. A large man made wardrobe and matching bedside tables. This room has french doors opening onto the lake just metres from your room. The twin bedroom with two single beds is equipped with bedside tables and large fitted wardrobes.
We have an open plan fully fitted kitchen with a great view of the lake, offering everything you could possibly need for your stay, with fridge freezer, oven, washing machine, tumble dryer, coffee maker, toaster and everything you could need for your stay.
The adjoining sitting room with double glass doors also opens out onto the lake and is again fitted out to the highest standard with a 6 person sofa, wide screen TV with Sky and freeview, DVD player and an extensive stack of DVD’s, sideboard and well stocked bookshelf and board games, Xbox and games and an oak table seating six people. A perfect place to relax and eat with a wonderful lake view.
Across the lake facing aspect of the house we have a veranda with patio sofa, chairs and table, a bench and new gas BBQ. Also outside we have wooden loungers, a round wooden table, chairs and parasol…
The Lodge
There is a newly built lodge fully-fitted to the highest standards. It compromises of one bedroom with kingsize bed, double sofa bed, TV, DVD and Freeview.
The bespoke fully fitted kitchen boasts gas cooker, fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster & coffee maker. The toilet and shower in the lodge is as good as any you will find on any angling venue anywhere. Egyptian cotton bed linen, duvets, blankets and towels also supplied free of charge.
The chalet has its own private entrance with outside eating and bbq area and looks out over the pond and only 20 metres from the main lake. Guests can fish the pond for a mix of coarse species and a head of carp between 4-15lb – ideal for a bit of fun fishing or with the kids, a bit of easy floater fishing and a lovely spot for a family picnic.
Guests can take breakfast, lunch and dinner by the lodge, the various shady copses, at various grassy spaces around the lake or by the pond. Accommodation photographs coming soon.
